Project 1:
MEZZANINE FLOOR FOR A LIGHT STEEL
PRODUCT MANUFACTURER

MEZZ-RACK SYSTEMS beat off three other competitors and was awarded a contract to manufacture, supply and install a 9,000 sq. ft. mezzanine floor, complete with office partitions and below level fire protection.
A storage area on the ground level required 288 bays of UNIRACK long span shelving, each bay containing 81 plastic containers on 9 shelf levels, a total of 23,328 containers.
The underside of the floor is totally fire protected, using 600 x 600mm 1 hr ceiling tiles and galvanised column cladding.
The aisle lighting was also supplied and installed by MEZZ-RACK SYSTEMS.
The upper level incorporated 300 lineal metres of office partition and 9,000 sq. ft of ceiling inclusive of carpeting and lighting.
The whole contract, worth £216,000, was installed within a six week period, using the same installation teams throughout.
Project 2:
MEZZANINE FLOOR FOR PALLETISED GOODS STORAGE
(AREA - YORKSHIRE)
MEZZ-RACK SYSTEMS was approached by a company in the LEEDS area, the M.D. of this company being very concerned that the mezzanine floor he had ordered elsewhere was not going to be delivered and installed within the next 9 days as previously promised. This client was expecting a large delivery and the mezzanine floor installation was crucial to him sealing his contract.
Within 6 hours we had completed our survey of the site, priced the job and even issued a CAD drawing, much to the customers surprise. Although we gave a competitive, but not the cheapest, price we were awarded the contract to manufacture and install a 13,000 square foot floor within the 9 days. The materials were manufactured and delivered to site within 5 days and, by using two teams on 12 hour shifts, the job was actually completed with 11 hours to spare. We must point out that 300 bays of UNIRACK Longspan shelving was also installed by MEZZ-RACK SYSTEMS to the ground level area during this period.
Our client has stated that it is the best £90,000 he has invested.
